Service Offerings

Our advising packages are focused on meeting your unique college advising needs. The packages below are created to provide college guidance in a targeted manner. Hourly meetings are available on a case-by-case basis, please contact Nicole for further information.

College List Creation

This package only focuses on creating the college list and giving the student an aerial view of their college planning process. This service includes:

  • Comprehensive meeting with student and parents to determine college preference

  • Review of transcript(s), SAT/ACT scores, and resume

  • Career assessment and introduction to career research resources

  • Advice on course selection

  • Materials on potential majors 

  • General overview of the college application process

  • Guidance for the college visit and interview process

  • Advice for college research 

  • Provide a packet of recommended colleges tailored specifically for the student


Essay Development

This package is focused on meetings with student to brainstorm, draft, and revising the main college essay. Students who use this package are only seeking guidance and support for the essay writing process. 

  • 90-minute Brainstorming session to help student understand the college essay writing process and generate initial ideas

  • Editing/check-in zoom meetings following the Flowers Method for writing and editing

  • Unlimited drafts of their main essay via email for review and feedback

  • Unlimited communication via phone, text, and email

  • Custom College Plan account for communication, college essay prompt research, and deadline tracking

  • Digital Binder focused on the essay writing process that includes additional resources about the college search and application process

Application Support

This package is for students who already know what they would like to study and the college(s) that they want to apply to. Students who use this package are only seeking guidance and support for the application process. 

  • Meetings with student and/or parents, including resume and essay writing, and the application process

  • Review of transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, and resume

  • Planning timeline for the application process

  • Essay brainstorming and editing

  • Review college applications and essays for a maximum of 10 colleges; additional applications will incur a fee of $250 per college. 

  • Guidance for the college visit and interview process

  • Recommendations for extracurricular activities and academic experiences

  • Organizational help for the college search and application process

 

Comprehensive Service

Includes all services in the packages listed above plus:

  • An average of 18 meetings with student and/or parents, including essay and application review sessions

  • Review of college applications and essays for a maximum of 10 colleges; additional applications will incur a fee of $250 per college. 

  • Guidance regarding financial aid and anticipated college cost of attendance

  • Decision making support with college acceptance offers

  • Discussion of activities, fellowships, and co-curricular opportunities available during and after college graduation
